  • Set the control pad to your desired temperature (usually 82 degrees) and the White Knight will run continuously until the water is up to your desired temperature. A heat pump heats more slowly than a gas heater, but costs 75% less to operate, so allow 3-4 days to get the water up to temperature. Total cost for running 24 hours during those 3-4 days is only $10-$15 due to the super efficiency of the White Knight design.
The Knight will work in temps as low as 40 degrees.

The initial cost of buying a gas heater may seem less, but the hidden costs of installing gas lines or propane tanks run into hundreds of dollars. The White Knight plugs in to a 110 volt outlet so the cost of running 220V electric is eliminated also. Total initial costs are very close with gas vs the White Knight.

Maintaining an 82 degree pool using a White Knight Heat Pump during costs only $40-60 per month compared with more than $200 monthly using any gas heater under similar conditions.

Gas heaters use an inefficient, outdated design that spikes the water temperature every few hours because it cycles on/off constantly. The result is an uneven temperature range and HUGE costs of hundreds of dollars every month to use.

Once water is warmed up, keep the desired temperature set on the control pad. Water temperature naturally rises during the day when air temperature is warmest and drops overnight as the air cools. The White Knight will heat during night hours when air temps are at their lowest and electric rates are at their lowest. Daily electrical cost to maintain temperature will average less than $2/day in most areas.

A heat pump brings water temperature up evenly at any flow rate and water temp is maintained inexpensively using nature’s own ambient heat.

For bigger pools heat pumps are available they use 220v
